Oils & Butters

Oak Manour uses a variety of oils and butters in our products. Here are the benefits:

Mango Butter- Used in our lotions.

Mango butter is known for being lighter than shea butter and cocoa butter. It absorbs quickly and will not clog pores. It has vitamins A, C and E for skin nutrition. It is a great option for skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema as it soothes skin irritation.

Cocoa Butter- Used in our lip balm and lotions.

Cocoa Butter locks in moisture, promotes skin elasticity and has antioxidants to fight the free radicals in your skin. It has healing properties for scars and chapped skin. It smells amazing, making it an all-around fabulous choice for lip balm.

Almond Oil- Used in our lip balm and lotions.

Almond oil is moisturizing, brightening and soothes skin irritation. It has high levels of vitamin E and antioxidants to fight skin damage, aging and wrinkles.

Coconut Oil- Used in our soaps.

Coconut oil is known for its cleansing properties. It is antimicrobial and makes a rich lather when used for soap. Like almond oil, it has vitamin E and antioxidants to keep your skin looking young.

Olive Oil- Used in our soaps.

Olive oil is a powerful moisturizer and has antimicrobial properties. It has skin-soothing properties, vitamin E and antioxidants. Olive oil also makes a creamy lather when used for soap.

Palm Oil (sustainably sourced)- Used in our soap bars.

Palm oil is moisturizing, full of vitamins and antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is very cleansing and makes a creamy lather in soaps. It also naturally produces a good amount of glycerin in soap, trapping moisture within the skin.

Castor Oil- Used in our soap bars.

Castor oil promotes the production of elastin and collagen for young-looking skin. It has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It makes a very nice lather in soap, necessary for lifting away dirt and microbes.
